On the beautiful western coastline of Bornholm, you will find Hasle, 10 kilometres north of Rønne.
Hasle has long ago transitioned from primarily being just a fishing village, to a sun-drenched oasis, where you can easily spend all day on the lovely sandy beach or by the maritime area around the floating harbour bath.
Hasle has its own smoke house, where the herring is still smoked in the same way as the olden days - with open chimneys and alderwood.
Holiday guests, who visits Hasle the second weekend in July, are more than welcome to take part in the annual Sildefest (festival of the herring). The Sildefest is Bornholm's oldest local festival, and a yearly tradition dating back almost 60 years. The Sildefest has an extensive program with music and entertainment for the whole family. One of the highlights is the crowning of Miss Sild (Miss Herring) - the prettiest girl on Bornholm.
Hasle is also home to several artists, and on Grønbechs Farm you can experience crafts of international formats.
True masterpieces can be experienced in the evening sky above Hasle. Sunsets with the most beautiful colours nature can produce - reflected in the Baltic Sea. An experience not to miss out on.
