Sømarken

Sømarken beach is next to Dueodde beach. Comparing the two beaches, Sømarken is the rougher and more varied one, whereas Dueodde has soft sand and shallow waters.

The sand in Sømarken is coarser, the water gets deep quickly and there are some big rocks in the water that can only be used to jump in from.

In other words, it is a real macho beach! But this does not make Sømarken less attractive for women and children. Sømarken is a nice place to holiday for families with children and one of the island's largest holiday areas.

The area has a rich wildlife and its nature speaks for itself.

Sømarken is divided into the West- and East-Sømark. It is an attractive area that you definitely will recommend to your friends when you return from your holiday.
